ABOUT ME

Located in Toronto, Canada, lovemaki offers modern art prints and handmade cushions for both kids and adults. Each product is designed and made by founder, Justine Cajanding. lovemaki focuses on creating pieces that are sweet but also sophisticated, whimsical but wise, and all made with the love of her son, Maki, in mind, but that are perfect for your modern space as well.

The idea of lovemaki was formed in 2008, inspired by the arrival of my beautiful son. An interior designer by trade, I wanted to create art for him in the clean and simple, modern style that i love, yet still be able to inspire a child's imagination and playfulness. After creating a mobile to hang above his crib, I designed an Alphabet Print and the Numbers posters that you can find in the shop today. Further motivated by my passion for design, illustration, and photography, I decided to launch lovemaki in October 2010. I now dedicate my time to the shop and my son Maki while working as a lifestyle and children's photographer.
